About Our Founder

Acea Mosey is a lifelong resident of Western New York. She graduated from Amherst High School in 1985. She earned a Bachelors in Business Administration from Canisius College in 1992 and then went on to Thomas M. Cooley, School of Law in Lansing, Michigan. She graduated with her Juris Doctorate in 1994 and was admitted to the New York State Bar in March, 1995.

Ms. Mosey is currently the founding partner with Mosey Associates, LLP, located at 625 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo New York. In addition, she serves as the Erie County Public Administrator, which is a Court appointed position from the Honorable Barbara Howe, Surrogate.

Acea previously served as a Commissioner at the Erie County Water Authority from May 2000 to May 2006, being the first ever women to serve as a Commissioner, as well as, Chair for the Authority. In Addition, Acea also serves on the Canisius College Regents Board. She also gained a vast amount of business experience from her employment with her family-owned, Great Lakes Bureau, Inc. For over twelve years. Acea resides in Buffalo, New York and is a lifelong member of St. John Maron Church. She is a member of the New York Bar Association, The Bar Association of Erie County, and the WNY Women’s Bar Association.
Ms. Mosey has been a proud to support her community by serving on previous boards such as Greater Buffalo Savings Bank, Board of Directors of AIDS Community Service, Kiwani’s Club, Knights of the Order of St. Sarbel, and National Women in Transportation. Currently Acea sits on both The Buffalo Zoo Board as well as the Women & Children’s Hospital Foundation.
